About the role

Technical Specialist providing technical support and skilled troubleshooting for Apple customers, promoting Apple products and services, and guiding customers on repair options. Develops knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support high-quality repairs while delivering exceptional service with care and empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple hardware and software.
  • Educate customers on Apple products, services, and repair options.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns in a customer service environment.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and relay feedback to Apple.
  • Offer product and service recommendations based on customer needs and educate on relevant purchasing options.
  • Support customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple's values of inclusion and diversity.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise of Apple products and services.
  • Follow troubleshooting steps to identify root causes of technical issues.
  • Balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work well in a team.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays in a retail store.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle customer service issues with care.
  • Curiosity and openness to learn from others and help team members grow.
