About the role

Leads and supports the Global Real Estate Lease Administration team by overseeing a portion of Apple’s lease portfolio, ensuring financial and legal compliance, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lease Administration and Data Integrity: Ensure 100% data accuracy by interpreting, abstracting, and entering lease documents into the system of record; complete and oversee new lease setups including vendor payment information and insurance certificates; manage lease-related agreements (Memorandums of Lease, SNDAs, Assignments/Sales, Estoppel Certificates, Consents).
  • Financial Management: Research and resolve payment disputes; manage timely collection of tenant allowances, security deposits, and other payment obligations; handle payment issues with landlords and tenants (rent start-ups, operating expense changes, ownership changes, alteration consents, lease terminations); assist with asset management issues and funding requests.
  • Audit and Compliance: Review and perform desktop audits of operating expense payments, reconciliations, billings, and estimates for lease-term compliance; collaborate with internal and external audit teams to improve processes and mitigate risk.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build cross-functional partnerships with landlords, property management, legal, finance, and internal teams; support Real Estate Transactions Managers and leadership as required.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Lease Management with database/records management
  • BA or BS in Business, Real Estate, Finance or equivalent experience / Paralegal Certificate
  • Ability to review, interpret and abstract legal real estate documents
  • Proven financial, analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Experience working and communicating with all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced, high growth environment
