About the role

New Graduate UX Test Engineer role in Applied Intuition’s Validation team, focusing on usability, accessibility, and interface performance through test plans, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Test Plan Development: Design and implement comprehensive validation scripts focused on user journeys, edge cases, and visual consistency.
  • Automation Engineering: Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using tools like Selenium or Appium to increase validation throughput.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX Designers and Product Managers to refine requirements and provide feedback on design prototypes.
  • Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, and track UI/UX defects through their entire lifecycle using Jira or similar tracking systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, HMI, UX Design, or a related field and is graduating by December 2026 or Summer 2027.
  • Foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies (Manual & Automated).
  • Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language such as C / C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, and responsive layout validation.
  • Strong analytical thinking, obsessive attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication.
  • 1+ year of experience in any field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
