About the role

Deployment Strategist supporting DHS/DOJ to bridge cutting-edge AI research and mission-critical production, with a focus on deploying Agentic AI and autonomous reasoning workflows into homeland security and law enforcement environments.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Spectrum Capture & Quota Ownership: carry and exceed a multi-million dollar annual revenue quota across the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract award and revenue recognition.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in complex enterprise IT sales or business development within DHS, DOJ, or broader federal law enforcement/homeland security market
  • Proven track record of closing and implementing multi-year deals exceeding $25M
  • Deep understanding of DHS and DOJ modernization priorities in AI/ML, computer vision, biometrics, screening and vetting, investigative analytics, or case management
  • Demonstrated ability to transition technology from demo to deployed capability within a major component program office
  • Existing high-level relationships across DHS/DOJ components (CBP, ICE, USCIS, TSA, CISA, FBI, DEA, ATF, USMS) and CIO/enterprise IT, plus federal integrators
  • Active Secret clearance preferred; TS/SCI and component suitability a plus
  • BS/BA required; technical degree or MBA preferred
  • National Capital Region-based; ability to work 2-3 days/week in Scale’s D.C. office
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%
