About the role

Loan Operations Associate responsible for end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions, with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and efficient stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end loan onboarding, closings, and operational setup for private credit and direct lending transactions
  • Process complex loan lifecycle events—fundings, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, and amendments—with accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations to maintain data integrity across borrower, lender, and settlement records
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc operational reports and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to identify process inefficiencies and support platform enhancements that improve scalability and client experience

Qualifications

  • Operationally rigorous. 2+ years of experience in loan operations, private credit operations, fund administration, or commercial lending
  • Knowledgeable about the loan lifecycle (syndicated loans, direct lending structures, revolvers, and lifecycle events such as closings, fundings, amendments, payoffs)
  • Technology-forward with use of AI-powered productivity tools
  • Strong communicator with ability to respond to inquiries from borrowers, lenders, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Analytically minded with ability to perform interest, fee, payoff, and other loan-related calculations
