About the role

Engineering intern position at Relari focused on contributing to the research and robot software stack through a scoped technical project, with on-site work in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship a useful component of our research, data, simulation, or robot software stack.
  • Run reproducible experiments and communicate results and next steps.
  • Work with researchers and hardware engineers to test software against real data and physical systems.
  • Improve reliability, observability, or usability with better tooling to accelerate the team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and practical experience in Python; C++ experience is useful for some projects.
  • Evidence of building substantial software through research, coursework, open source, internships, or personal projects.
  • Curiosity about machine learning, robotics, simulation, data systems, or scientific computing.
  • Ability to work independently, ask precise questions, and debug unfamiliar systems carefully.
  • Current enrollment in a degree program is welcome but not required if you can demonstrate the relevant ability.
