About the role

Environmental Compliance Project Manager for Accenture Construct, focusing on environmental regulatory adherence and coordination across pre-construction and construction phases for data center projects onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with subject-matter experts to satisfy compliance obligations and Environmental Requirements, aligning all actions with the overall construction schedule.
  • Partner with Permit Managers to understand permit conditions and translate requirements for Construction teams, ensuring compliance with environmental approvals.
  • Manage environmental and construction consultants supporting site delivery, overseeing inspections, internal reporting, agency discussions, AHJ submissions, and field-level compliance advice for construction teams.
  • Identify and mitigate construction-related issues involving stormwater, wetlands, streams (CWA 404/401), threatened and endangered species, cultural resources, buffers, tree preservation, and air compliance; assist permitting teams in delivering permit modifications.
  • Support regulatory agency, stakeholder, and community engagement activities for new builds.
  • Develop environmental risk and compliance mitigations to enable datacenter construction and operations within development timelines.
  • Manage environmental compliance planning and execution for pre-construction activities and operational turnover.
  • Communicate environmental requirements and expertise to diverse stakeholders; maintain and report project status; contribute to Environmental Excellence program for datacenter delivery and construction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Experience in DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
  • Management of environmental compliance planning and execution for pre-construction activities and operational turnover
  • Communication of environmental requirements and environmental expertise to diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Construction Environmental Compliance Lead will maintain and report project status regularly and contribute to the development and continued improvement of an Environmental Excellence program for datacenter delivery and construction
