About the role

Hands-on role owning marketing systems, channels, publishing cadence, and reporting for an AI-native startup. Responsibilities span marketing automation, email, blog publishing, social, events, SEO/AEO, and analytics, with potential to expand to leadership as the team scales.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing systems and automation. HubSpot ownership (segments, properties, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, integrations).
  • Search and answer-engine visibility (AEO/SEO) across on-site and off-site efforts, technical SEO, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, backlinks, and AI answer engine optimization; build measurement.
  • Email and newsletter management (subscription list, opt-in process, schedule and send newsletters, hygiene, segmentation, deliverability; set and own KPIs).
  • Blog publishing and distribution (live articles from engineering/writing team; syndication, communities, newsletters, cross-posting).
  • Social channels management (daily ownership, content adaptation, channel evaluation, reach growth).
  • Analytics and reporting (GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, OpenSEO, etc.).
  • Digital events (webinars, platform setup, registration, promotion, reminders, follow-up, reporting).
  • In-person event logistics (North America/Europe conferences; venue, shipping, lead capture, promotion; occasional India events).

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in digital marketing (6+ preferred) with startup or small multi-channel experience.
  • Hands-on ownership of marketing automation tools.
  • Email marketing infrastructure experience (ESP selection, migration, opt-in flow, deliverability).
  • Technical SEO experience (schema, site architecture, crawl/index health; current AEO perspective).
  • Self-sufficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Ahrefs/Semrush/OpenSEO or equivalent.
  • Practical fluency with agentic AI tools and automation workflows.
