About the role

Software engineering internship/co-op at AMD in Vancouver, Canada. Full-time onsite term (37.5 hrs/week) with multiple duration options across winter, summer, and fall terms. Responsibilities include building and maintaining software applications, training on the full software development lifecycle, scripting to automate processes, learning debugging methodologies, and potential creation of technical/functional documents.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with software engineers to build and maintain AMD software applications
  • Receive training on the full software creation process from design to deployment
  • Build scripts to automate parts of the software development process
  • Learn debugging methodologies to investigate root causes of software issues
  • May craft technical/functional documents and reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university in a Bachelor's program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
