About the role

Role within the Wallet, Payments & Commerce team based in Tokyo to drive Apple Pay E-Commerce integrations with payment service providers, PSPs, and merchant channels in Japan and South Korea. Lead end-to-end partner integrations, provide technical guidance, and optimize the customer payment journey across E-Commerce channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Apple Pay E-commerce partner integrations end-to-end for merchants, PSPs, and Acquirers — from technical scoping and implementation to ongoing feature adoption and support.
  • Enable partners to deliver best-in-class Apple Pay and Wallet experiences through technical guidance and implementation best practices, including new product feature adoption
  • Translate local partner insights and market nuances into product enhancement and localization recommendations for the WW Product team.
  • Monitor anomaly reports and conversion rate dashboards to identify issues and drive prompt resolution.
  • Provide consistent updates and strategic communications to internal stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Serve as SME on E-Commerce payment flows, tokenization, 3-D Secure, and PSP integration patterns to guide troubleshooting and partner architecture reviews.

Qualifications

  • Experience in web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) / iOS development (Swift).
  • Working with online merchant segments, PSPs, payment schemes, and processors.
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting software.
  • Skilled at helping partners identify, navigate, and overcome technical hurdles to drive adoption of technology.
  • Experience integrating, supporting, and troubleshooting a complex suite of products and/or services.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and issues to a broad audience.
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Passion for outstanding user experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese.
