About the role

Design and build advanced mobile display modules with end-to-end responsibility from concept to volume manufacturing, focusing on electrical design requirements, architecture, validation, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Drive display module electrical design requirements for new product introduction from concept level and initial prototypes to mass production
  • Contribute to overall module architecture including custom silicon requirements and IPs
  • Define validation plans
  • Manage vendors to ensure high quality products
  • Work with cross-functional teams (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical) to design and develop new products using state-of-the-art display technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with PCB design including component selection, schematic capture, and layout
  • Experience using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre
  • Experience with prototype IC or PCB bring-up, validation, and failure analysis
  • Experience with coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar tools
  • Experience with module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specs to meet high level requirements
  • Experience working with cross functional teams on multi-disciplinary HW designs (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical)
  • Experience in one or more of: power (DC-DC converters, power management, low power design), analog and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Experience in display technology, such as LCD, OLED, DLP, LCOS, e-paper
  • Experience with PCB simulations for PDN, SI/PI/crosstalk, and EMI/EMC
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
