About the role

RF silicon validation engineer responsible for validating RF performance of cellular transceivers and RF subsystems, with emphasis on test strategy, automation, and applying AI/ML techniques to measurement and analysis in a collaborative, multi-team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define test strategy and test plans derived from receiver system specifications
  • Characterize and optimize key RF parameters; perform root-cause analysis of functional/performance issues across verification phases
  • Develop scripts for test automation and regression environments
  • Apply AI/ML-based methods to advance measurement, analysis, and scalability of regression environments
  • Collaborate with Design, Firmware, System, and other teams to ensure validation coverage and alignment
  • Manage delivery and dependencies in a self-contained way to meet commitments

Qualifications

  • Master’s or higher degree (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Communication/ Embedded Systems, or equivalent
  • Several years of proven industrial RF silicon-validation experience
  • Experience in RF transceiver system definition and architecture; ability to derive validation strategy, test plans, and pass/fail criteria from system specifications
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques to RF, signal-processing, or lab-automation problems
  • Proven knowledge of RF fundamentals and RF measurement techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB; ability to create and optimize scripts (AI-coding assistants welcome)
  • Experience creating test automation scripts for lab and regression environments
  • Knowledge of 3GPP standards focusing on RF transceiver aspects and receiver RF requirements
  • Strong collaboration skills with teams (Design, Firmware, System, etc.)
  • English proficiency
