About the role

Finance-focused Business Manager role within Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) Finance supporting AI. Directly influences AI roadmap decisions through cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Services, Engineering, Infrastructure, and leadership. Combines financial modeling, data synthesis, and strategic advisory to inform product concept through launch.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and drive business and product decisions for Apple's AI roadmap in cross-functional partnership with Product Marketing Managers, Services, Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Customer Analytics, Sales and Market Research
  • Advise on business model opportunities, feature arbitration, and line-up decisions with analyses considering revenue, cost, and margin implications by integrating varied data sources
  • Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to understand AI feature cost drivers and translate technical complexity into clear financial insight
  • Collaborate with Services to align on shared business questions, ensuring AI-related decisions are evaluated holistically
  • Absorb and dissect usage trends, activation trends, buyer surveys, external market research, and technical performance benchmarks to inform product and business strategy
  • Integrate datasets to create, present, and defend demand forecasts, scenarios, and other insights to senior leadership
  • Support stealth investigations, special projects, and ad-hoc requests for senior Apple leadership

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role with frequent exposure to business case and scenario modeling
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field
