About the role

Technical Expert at Apple Retail responsible for extensive functional troubleshooting, repairs on iPhone and other Apple products, customer education on repair options and Apple services, and knowledge sharing across the team. Demonstrates Apple values, supports high-quality repairs, and contributes to an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Perform repairs on iPhone and other Apple products as required.
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Deepen knowledge on Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes and procedures to support efficient repairs.
  • Provide excellent service by understanding customer needs, identifying ownership opportunities, and presenting product/service recommendations.
  • Work with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and share feedback to Apple.
  • Educate others on hardware and software components and origins of technical issues.
  • Support customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
