AI model built for high accuracy deterministic tasks; role involves researching and implementing advanced ML techniques, deploying models at scale, and contributing to open-source AI efforts as a founding member at Interfaze.
Responsibilities
- Research and understand different machine learning techniques and papers, then experiment with real-world implementation
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorRT-LLM, PyTorch) and AI development tools
- Train, deploy and serve models at scale on cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and more
- Write papers on research and experiments contributing to open-source AI
- Write benchmarks and analysis comparing models (e.g., embedding models, Whisper vs other models)
- Quantization and fine-tuning of LLMs and other models for developer use cases
- Optimize models and GPU infrastructure for cost-to-scale ratio based on load
- Write Python code and Jupyter Notebooks
Qualifications
- A strong AI Researcher with at least 5 years of experience
- paper publications at ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, NAACL, or IEEE
- Experience with GPU infra and the company tech stack
- Comfortable across the stack: deployment, benchmarking, fine-tuning, monitoring, scaling
- Up-to-date with latest papers and techniques
- Ability to leverage AI to boost productivity
- Curiosity for experimentation and collaboration with developers
- Open to feedback and growth mindset
