About the role
Founding Engineer role at Docura Health, a YC-backed AI-native med-legal startup. You’ll own customer relationships end-to-end, build 0→1 products and workflows, design reliable agent systems, ingest large volumes of unstructured medical records, and integrate audio with document workflows inside enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- The customer relationship. You'll be forward-deployed, working face-to-face with customers, understanding how they actually work, and turning that into product.
- Building 0 to 1. New products and workflows, from a blank page into production.
- Reliable agent orchestration. Designing agent systems that are accurate and dependable enough to run real cases in a high-stakes, regulated domain.
- Ingesting large volumes of documents. Making sense of thousands of pages of messy, unstructured medical records and claim files at scale.
- Tying together audio and document workflows. Bringing voice applications and document applications into a single system that does real work.
- Working inside large enterprises. Building and deploying into the systems of record of large, complex organizations.
Qualifications
- A strong full-stack engineer who thrives on ambiguous, hard problems
- Strong technical judgment about architecture and product tradeoffs
- Ships fast without sacrificing reliability for customers
- Genuinely comfortable working directly with customers and owning the relationship
- Already has US work authorization (we can't sponsor visas)
