About the role

Director level leadership role focused on end-to-end sourcing strategy and supplier management for Quince's Intimates, Lounge, Swim categories, with a multi-regional supplier network and D2C manufacturing model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the end-to-end supply chain and sourcing strategy for the Intimates, Lounge, Swim categories including a multi-sourcing approach to ensure resilience.
  • Onboard new manufacturing partners to the Quince direct-to-consumer (D2C) model and provide coaching on operating within a rapid replenishment, M2C environment.
  • Educate partners on the Quince Operating System (OS), covering Operational Excellence, Financial Model (ROIC), and Technical Integration (Vendor Portal).
  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve key performance indicators: Quality (defect rate < 0.5%), Speed & Accuracy (replenishment lead time < 14 days), Availability (in-stock rate > 99%), and Financial Impact (margin-accretive performance).
  • Lead Catalog Expansion with Merchandising and PD teams, launching new styles and colors approved via NPC process.
  • Conduct structured Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with partner management, focusing on strategic alignment, performance, improvements, and future objectives.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of director-level Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supplier Management experience with major US-based retailers.
  • Deep set of partner factory connections within Intimates, Lounge, Swim category globally (APAC, IST, EMEA regions).
  • Product obsessed with leveraging factories/vendor expertise to design, cost engineer, and bring products to market; thorough knowledge of key materials localized in the region.
  • GM mindset with a supply chain background and manufacturing (lean/JIT) experience.
  • Deep understanding of category costs with ability to drive cost savings via clean sheets and negotiation tactics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, execution-focused, and process-improvement minded.
  • Continuous learner, curious, proactive in adapting to challenges; business-savvy and embraces technology/AI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
