About the role

Founding GTM role in a San Francisco-based, in-person startup. You will own revenue end-to-end, design the outbound motion, write the first playbook, and close deals with founders in the trenches.

Responsibilities

  • Build the outbound machine. Design and run the full prospecting motion: ICP definition, account research, multi-channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone, events), and the tooling stack behind it.
  • Close full-cycle. Run discovery, demos, technical evaluation, procurement, and negotiation through to signature. Founders join your key deals, but the deals are yours to drive.
  • Sell a technical product to technical buyers. Engage with heads of engineering, VPs of CX, and AI leads; perform deep discovery on latency, barge-in, evals, and CI/CD for agents; demo credibly with founders.
  • Turn conferences and communities into pipeline. Leverage voice AI ecosystem events and communities to generate opportunities.
  • Write the playbook. Document messaging, objection handling, qualification criteria, sequences; establish the GTM playbook for future hires.
  • Feed the product loop. Represent market feedback to a small, engineering-heavy team and influence roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a technical role (software engineering or adjacent) at some point in your career.
  • 2+ years in a commercial, consulting, or GTM-adjacent role.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
