About the role
Seed-stage security graph startup (SubImage) seeking a Founding Engineer to help build a distributed Python backend and graph-driven security platform, with in-person work in San Francisco. Role focuses on complex security engineering problems and building a real-time, self-updating environment map using Cartography and Neo4j.
Responsibilities
- 3+ years experience at high growth companies. We are looking for fast trajectory. You are curious and hungry.
- Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud tech.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions with a strong sense of ownership.
- Implement gnarly business logic in a maintainable and elegant way.
- Ship Python backend with FastAPI and contribute to the graph infrastructure using Cartography / Neo4j.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience at high growth companies
- Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud tech
- Based in the SF Bay Area and willing to work in-person, in-office 5 days a week
