About the role

Learning & Development Manager responsible for establishing systems, programs, and processes to support employee development, training, and compliance across Impulse Space. Owns the LMS, builds training programs, partners with technical and business leaders, manages external training vendors, and implements reporting and scalable L&D processes in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the company’s LMS, including course assignment, enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Mission Management, EHS, Security, Quality, Legal, and People teams to identify training needs and develop company-wide and role-specific programs
  • Develop and maintain onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional-development training
  • Manage third-party training vendors, including selection, scheduling, delivery, and budget
  • Establish training policies, compliance tracking, reporting, and metrics while continuously improving programs as the company scales

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a related HR function
  • Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, or administering an LMS
  • Demonstrated experience building training programs or L&D capabilities from the ground up
  • Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with training compliance, reporting, and/or audit readiness
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HRIS/LMS platforms
  • High school diploma, or GED certificate equivalent
