About the role

Lead the day-to-day stewardship of Finance's Record to Report (RTR) processes and drive a high-priority Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation, acting as the bridge between Finance and IT to ensure requirements are translated into system design, milestones met, and end users are prepared for go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Business Lead for the full Record to Report end-to-end implementation — requirements gathering, process design, configuration, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to document current-state Finance processes for RTR and define future-state workflows within Oracle Fusion Cloud; translate outputs into functional specifications for configuration and integration across GL, SCA, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Allocations, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, Financial Reporting Studio, and OTBI/BI Publisher decisions.
  • Oversee data migration strategy, execution, and validation for all financial master data in alignment with Oracle Fusion Cloud standards.
  • Collaborate with ERP implementation partner to meet scope, quality, and timelines; escalate risks/issues as needed.
  • Lead functional-level status reporting on milestones and risks; manage interdependencies across Finance mega-processes.
  • Execute change management and training to drive user readiness and adoption; build RTR super users and process champions.
  • Drive post-implementation RTR activities including hypercare, enhancements, quarterly update readiness, and handoff to internal teams.
  • Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases, assess impact, coordinate regression testing, and drive adoption of new features.
  • Ensure SOX, SDs, audit, and regulatory requirements compliance for Oracle Cloud configurations in collaboration with Internal Audit and IT Security.
  • Serve as strategic owner for RTR processes and systems; support system architecture, integration health, and technology roadmap with IT.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience with large ERP systems
  • 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (GL, SCA, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Allocations, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, Financial Reporting Studio, OTBI, BI Publisher)
  • 10+ years of experience with financial applications and working with vendors/internal customers
  • Full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation experience leading Record to Report processes
  • Proven project management experience within budget and timeline; PMP certification a plus
  • Experience across multiple Finance functional areas (e.g., accounting, R2R, BI, HR/payroll, P2P, O2C)
  • Experience with systems handling sensitive data, SOX controls; familiarity with DCAA/FAR-DFARS or CMMC a plus
  • Ability to manage user access controls for audits
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, strong analytical skills, ability to manage ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses
  • Ability to oversee security policies and segregation-of-duties controls in Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Ability to drive projects to completion, testing, and acceptance
  • Experience with ERP boundary systems (e.g., Concur, Avalara, Coupa, Floqast); Oracle Cloud ecosystem experience a plus
  • Ability to provide on-call/after-hours support for key deadlines
