About the role

QA engineer to test a range of security projects within the Security Engineering and Architecture QA team. Design and build tests for security features, develop automated and manual test coverage, build test tooling, and coordinate with engineers and managers across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build automated test frameworks and tooling for security features
  • Develop both automated and manual tests, including cases that surface hard to find defects
  • Communicate regularly with managers and engineers across the organization
  • Build project plans and reach consensus on approach with stakeholders
  • Debug and report issues found during testing
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand their technology and build test coverage around it
  • Maintain and triage the team's daily automation results
  • Use LLMs or AI tooling to improve quality, failure triage, or automation workflows

Qualifications

  • Typically 5 or more years of experience as a Software QA Automation Engineer, or equivalent demonstrated capability
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages, such as Swift, Objective-C, or Python
  • Experience developing test frameworks and automated test tooling
  • Experience designing automated and manual tests that surface hard to find defects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate issues independently
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond efficiently
