About the role

ML Researcher role focused on generative modeling pipelines for a diverse set of international languages, including data preprocessing, model design, training, evaluation, and deployment. Hands-on work across end-to-end NLP technologies and language diversity, with emphasis on generative models and international language applications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Innovation in Generative Modeling: Focus exclusively on building and optimizing generative models for international languages.
  • Full-Stack Language Expertise: Own the entire generative modeling pipeline, from data preprocessing and model architecture design to training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Language Diversity: Prioritize working with a variety of popular international languages, ensuring models are culturally and linguistically adaptable.
  • Work with advanced text generation technologies (e.g., context-augmented text rewriting, safety-controlled text composition, free-form text transformation, personalized smart interactions).
  • Collaborate with ML and software engineers to build user-facing experiences across multiple languages and markets.
  • Present plans, progress, and results or demos regularly for multi-modal modeling initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5-8yrs of machine learning expertise
  • Strong programming using Python/Objective C/Swift
  • Good exposure to Deep Learning libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Thorough experience with NLP algorithms and applications (tokenization, language modelling, text decoding, text classifier, etc.)
  • Experience with optimization, regularization, loss functions, parameter tuning, distributed training and inference, model compression methods
  • High-quality coding across large repositories, implementing optimizers/loss functions, algorithm optimizations, refactoring for robustness, processing large datasets, automated synthesis/training/evaluation pipelines
  • Experience with multi-modal modeling and presenting results effectively
  • Experience in NLP modeling for Indian languages desired
