About the role

Senior Brand Strategist in Greater China responsible for identifying high-impact strategic opportunities and shaping how Apple articulates brand and product narratives. Bridges global brand ambition with local market realities, uncovering consumer needs and setting strategic foundations for integrated campaigns across Greater China.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously interrogate market dynamics, competitor shifts, and behavioral trends to identify strategic whitespace and frame business and brand opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end strategic planning for local campaigns—from framing business objectives to authoring creative briefs and establishing measurement metrics.
  • Architect holistic, multi-touchpoint campaign strategies beyond traditional advertising to seamlessly integrate digital, social platforms, physical/online retail, interactive experiences.
  • Distill deep cultural currents and consumer truths into briefs that inspire category-defining work.
  • Deliver timely market and cultural intelligence to fuel strategic alignment between Greater China Marketing and Worldwide teams.
  • Partner across cross-functional teams to pioneer creative and communications breakthroughs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of strategic planning experience within leading creative agencies, brand consultancies, or client-side global brand marketing teams.
  • Experience across the full strategic spectrum, spanning business and brand strategy, consumer research, insight synthesis, and integrated communications planning.
  • Proven track record of independently authoring inspiring creative briefs and shaping high-impact strategic platforms for Greater China initiatives.
  • Mastery in written, visual, and verbal storytelling, with the presence to engage and influence multidisciplinary teams.
  • Full professional fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
