About the role

Software Engineer role within Apple’s Human Research and Engineering Solutions (HRES) AI/ML team. Build, maintain, and scale AI/ML and Generative AI services and infrastructure to support Apple’s hardware product development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype and deploy ML solutions, and communicate findings through demos and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality code that’s testable, scalable, and maintainable
  • Collaborate across teams to distill complex requirements into actionable plans
  • Research new ML and AI techniques and apply them to customer problems
  • Build scalable infrastructure platforms to service ML workflows
  • Lead design reviews, author documentation, and provide feedback on peers' designs
  • Represent work to team and leadership via demos, presentations, and retrospectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years professional software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python or other object-oriented languages
  • Ability to write applications in high-level languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
