About the role

Product Designer on the Ads & Business design team responsible for creating user-centered experiences for Apple’s advertising and business tools across web and mobile platforms. Collaborates with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate user needs and business requirements into thoughtful design solutions, contribute to design critiques, and apply design system patterns for consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms that support Apple’s business tools.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver thoughtful and effective user experiences.
  • Participate in design critiques, user research, and testing activities to validate and refine design decisions.
  • Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contribute to design system discussions and apply shared patterns across your work to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Seek opportunities to improve processes and tools that support the broader design team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience in a design studio or as a product designer.
  • Solid portfolio and breadth of work demonstrating skill; ability to discuss work confidently.
  • Ability to communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations.
  • High proficiency with the tools needed to visualize ideas and deliver work.
  • Thrives in an iterative design process and is motivated by group critique.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present work effectively to large groups and executives.
  • BA and/or equivalent experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design execution, clear thinking, and user-centered problem-solving.
  • Experience designing web-based tools or software that supports professionals or organizations.
  • Familiarity with established design systems and contributing to their evolution.
  • Comfort working on multiple projects at once and adapting to new information and priorities.
  • Interest in exploring new approaches and learning from experimentation, data, and feedback.
