About the role

Finance Manager at Watney responsible for building and leading financial strategy, forecasting, cash management, and reporting from scratch as the first dedicated finance hire, supporting site leases, manufacturing builds, and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Build financial planning, reporting, and budgeting processes from the ground up.
  • Own cash management and forecasting.
  • Bring vendor contracts and spend approvals under real financial process.

Qualifications

  • Experience building a finance function at an early-stage startup (from close to zero).
  • Experience modeling cash and capital needs through manufacturing or hardware scale-up.
  • Comfortable being the first finance hire with no existing systems to inherit.
