About the role

IT Engineer II to join the global APAC IT team supporting remote employees with end-to-end IT lifecycle, device provisioning, access management, and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

  • End-User Support: act as a key IT support contact, troubleshoot hardware/software/account/connectivity issues, provide remote support, onboard/offboard employees, guide on IT best practices, maintain documentation
  • IT Asset & Device Management: manage inventory, provisioning/configuration, enroll/manage devices via MDM (JAMF, Kandji, Microsoft Intune), monitor compliance and security configurations, coordinate procurement/replacements with vendors
  • Identity & Access Management: manage user accounts/access across Google Workspace, Okta, JumpCloud; handle joiner/mirer/leaver processes; perform access reviews; troubleshoot authentication/SSO/MFA issues
  • IT Infrastructure & Remote Support: remote support for Wi-Fi, VPN, conferencing; troubleshoot networking (IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls); support network/security infra; assist with AV/conference rooms; collaborate with vendors
  • Security & Compliance: support endpoint security, patching, encryption, device compliance; monitor/remediate security/compliance issues; assist with audits and policy enforcement; escalate incidents
  • Automation & IT Operations: identify repetitive IT processes and automate them; build provisioning/account management/troubleshooting workflows; maintain internal knowledge bases and SOPs

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on IT support/IT operations/systems administration or similar role
  • Experience supporting remote employees and troubleshooting hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity issues
  • Hands-on familiarity with MDM platforms such as JAMF, Kandji, or Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with identity and user administration in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, JumpCloud, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP, DNS, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
  • Experience with device provisioning, asset management, access management, and employee onboarding/offboarding
  • Understanding of endpoint security, patching, encryption, and basic IT security practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, independent work, and communication skills; strong documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
