About the role

Solutions Consultant role on the EU Investors team at Carta, partnering with Go-To-Market, Fund Administration, and Product to advise venture capital, private equity, and private credit funds, lead technical aspects of sales cycles, and support fund administration and investor management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Impart confidence and trust in Carta’s fund administration solutions; accompany Go-To-Market on calls to understand customer needs and scope solutions with business impact.
  • Lead technical aspects of sales cycles and partnership conversations with Fund Admin, Delivery, and Product teams; apply fund accounting and financial/equity knowledge (e.g., waterfalls, financial reporting, analytics).
  • Interface with prospects and strategic channel partners pre-sales to scope requirements; lead technical demos of Carta products; communicate with executives in finance and legal domains.
  • Provide product and technical financial expertise to drive progress toward quarterly revenue goals; contribute to the product roadmap based on prospect conversations; coach Go-To-Market team on technical aspects as needed.
  • Support BD team at partner offsite seminars and events

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting or related areas (corporate finance)
  • In-depth understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Private Credit)
  • Strong understanding of Venture Capital or Private Equity back-office fund operations and fund administration
  • Experience in private markets within Luxembourg; familiarity with Luxembourg fund structures and local regulatory environment
  • Proven track record of stakeholder/client relationship management and excellent communication skills
  • Interest in software products solving technical financial problems; ability to discuss operational problems with prospective customers
