Sales Pioneer, North America
About the role
QuestDB is seeking a Sales Pioneer for North America, based in New York or remotely in the region. The role focuses on financial services and capital markets, with expansion into adjacent data-intensive sectors. It combines hands-on closing at first and eventual team-building as the territory scales.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle enterprise sales for QuestDB Enterprise in North America: qualification, discovery, evaluation, commercial negotiation and close.
Qualifications
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a strong background in technical products and data infrastructure.
- A proven track record selling complex technical products to engineering, architecture and data teams, with measurable results (quota, attainment, deal sizes, win rate, sourced pipeline).
- Hands-on closer who runs and closes enterprise sales cycles independently, including at early-stage companies without large teams.
- Technically credible: comfortable discussing databases, data pipelines and deployment architectures with engineers, and able to run a discovery call solo with a skeptical technical buyer.
- Disciplined operator: clean CRM, honest forecasts, written next steps, and habit of reviewing your own calls.
