About the role

Accenture Construct is seeking a Life Science Project Controls Lead to oversee scheduling, cost management, estimating, risk management, and change control across complex capital projects, with onsite client engagement and leadership of project controls teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project controls function, overseeing scheduling, cost management, estimating, risk management, and change control across complex capital projects.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce project controls processes aligning with governance requirements and corporate standards, ensuring compliance with frameworks, financial policies, quality standards, and audits.
  • Manage project performance against budgets, baselines, and KPIs, partnering with project leadership and finance.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts, cash flow analyses, cost reports, and performance metrics for decision-making.
  • Oversee schedule development, progress tracking, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Integrate cost, schedule, and risk data to provide a comprehensive view of project health, trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Lead change management activities and ensure adherence to change control processes.
  • Maintain project risk registers, facilitate mitigation planning, and present executive-level reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, including regulated life sciences facilities experience
  • 7 years in senior leadership roles managing large project controls teams
