About the role
AMD is hiring an experienced applications engineer within the Embedded Business Unit to scope, debug, and resolve multi-disciplinary customer issues, enable customers in Linux system software and high-speed IO drivers, and develop customer-facing features and training.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on coding/debugging and resolution of customer issues, analysis and enablement of customer use-cases and feeding back patches/fixes to mainline SW.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in CS/EE with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Skills
Required:Linux kernel and device driversHigh-speed IO driver developmentOpen-source management and patchesTroubleshooting/debugging (hardware/software)
