About the role

Student internship in Apple’s SoC Engineering team focused on developing internal tools and scripts to increase efficiency and support development processes within the ASIC physical design flow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop internal tools and scripts to increase the team’s efficiency
  • Support development processes and understand how work is integrated and affecting Apple’s products
  • Learn how to work within Apple’s internal development environment and work processes

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be enrolled as a student for the full duration of the internship
  • Scripting and programming knowledge with TCL, Python, Perl, and Make
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work in an open and multi-cultural environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
