About the role

Apple Retail Manager role in Madrid, Spain. Leads and coaches a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drives store performance, participates in floor leadership, and upholds Apple values of inclusion and diversity. Responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team and executing operational strategies within assigned store areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team, developing and empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling what good looks like, and ensuring business priorities and exceptional customer service are delivered.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and key business or People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by planning and executing operational strategies within assigned functional areas.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning, demonstrate Apple's values of inclusion and diversity, and build and retain diverse teams.
  • Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and subject to any approved accommodations.
  • Be proficient in English and the local language, both written and spoken (sign language supported).
  • Have experience leading others in retail, sales, or a related field.
