About the role

Engineering Program Manager responsible for driving programs and projects related to the Siri User Experience across Apple devices, coordinating with Design, Engineering, QA and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, user-facing features within the Siri ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Drive programs and/or projects, including leading feature definition, system architecture, timelines, milestones, and risk management to ensure on-time delivery of features
  • Collaborate with multiple partner organizations and disciplines (Design, Engineering, QA) to deliver highly integrated experiences
  • Provide clear, timely, concise, and objective communication including regular status updates, critical issues and mitigations, changes in plans, risks, and requests for action
  • Bring together engineering, design, and other teams to ensure the right discussions and decisions are made to build a great product

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of project management in software development, machine learning or related industry experience
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software
  • Proven ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters
  • Excellent communication and proven executive presentation skills
  • Concise, well-structured written communication including status and summary of issues
  • Articulate and facilitative in meetings, able to adapt messaging for executive level audiences
  • Experience working cross functionally at different seniority levels
  • Experience working with voice assistant technology
  • Experience in delivering user-facing software features and driving full-stack development
