About the role

GNSS space vehicle receiver design role within Apple’s Cellular team, focusing on energy-efficient GNSS receiver architectures, system specification, and MATLAB/C++/SystemC modeling for RTL implementations to enable robust GNSS performance with optimized power usage.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the GNSS digital signal processing hardware.
  • Hardware specification and modeling in MATLAB/C++/SystemC.
  • Work closely with digital design and firmware teams to translate requirements into detailed design specifications and test vectors, review their implementation and verification.
  • Hardware architecture study for future generation GNSS development.

Qualifications

  • BS and a minimum of 10+ years relevant industry experience is required.
  • Strong background in wireless communications space with focus on digital hardware system design, e.g. GNSS, Connectivity, Cellular.
  • Familiarity with digital communication, signal processing, spread spectrum system, or systems theory.
