About the role

Internship focusing on hardware system design, validation and testing for Apple Home products. Based in Shanghai with collaboration with China and California design teams, potential factory visit opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding for a sub-system of Apple-designed product through architecture block diagrams, schematics, data-sheets, as well as interactions with expert team members
  • Learn & be responsible for circuit or sub-system design, including architecture, early feasibility analysis, component selection, schematic capture, PCB placement, layout, bring-up, and validation

Qualifications

  • Solid electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Capable of English communication
  • Hands-on experiences in system / circuit design & debug
  • Hands-on experience on basic lab equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, etc.
