About the role

Technical Specialist at Apple Retail providing technical support, skilled troubleshooting, and customer education on Apple products and services, with a focus on repairs and delivering an inclusive, high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for all customers.
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Develop knowledge and stay up to date on Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient and high-quality repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and communicate feedback to Apple.
  • Deliver excellent service by understanding customer needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating on relevant purchasing options.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and engaging with curiosity.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise of Apple products and services.
  • Ability to follow troubleshooting steps to identify root causes in a customer service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to navigate customer service issues.
  • Curiosity and openness to learn from others and help others grow.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks.
