About the role

Wireless performance research engineer focusing on understanding how factors like antenna, modem, SAR, RF algorithms, user interaction, channel conditions, co-ex and interference affect wireless performance and end-user experience. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive antenna, wireless algorithms, and system-level design and architecture changes.

Responsibilities

  • Cellular, WiFi and GNSS performance testing and analysis.
  • Antenna performance characterization: TRP, TIS, Efficiency, SAR.
  • System performance characterization: Throughput testing, application specific wireless performance testing, optimizing wireless algorithms and user impact assessment.
  • Collaborating closely with product teams and other stake holders to drive performance enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of cellular, WiFi or GNSS technologies.
  • Test automation experience. Python preferred and fluency with AI tools.
