About the role

Role focused on defining and implementing motor drive and sensing architectures, including silicon definition, system integration, and Bringup for 3-phase BLDC motor drive circuitry. Cross-functional, hands-on position partnering with mechanical and control systems teams.

Qualifications

  • BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience focusing on 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive circuitry design and integration
  • Experience in motor drive silicon definition and development
  • Excellent EE fundamentals focused on motor drives and analog design: 3-phase bridge design and control, gate drivers, phase current sensing, active and passive signal conditioning, feedback systems, ADC interfacing, DC/DC converters, and power integrity
  • Strong working experience in electrical design, including component selection, circuit design, schematic capture, component placement and PCB/flex layout
  • Knowledge of embedded processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, CAN, SPI, storage, high speed serial)
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices for PCB/flex layout and construction
  • Hands on experience with test equipment including oscilloscope, multi-meters and more for prototype bring-up, debugging, and functional validation
  • MS in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience focusing on 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive design and integration
  • Proven experience across the motor drive silicon development cycle from architecture to mass production
