About the role

A role within Carta's Fund Administration team focusing on supporting fund and investment vehicle administration, FATCA/CRS tax documentation, and process optimization using AI and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of funds and investment vehicles
  • Develop systems and innovative solutions to streamline internal processes
  • Collaborate with fund administration, compliance, sales and product teams on product-related issues
  • Ensure deliverables are met on time and clients remain compliant with regulations
  • Assist and guide clients with GIIN applications and registrations on local tax authority portals for FATCA and CRS purposes
  • Stay current with evolving FATCA/CRS regulations and their impact on reporting and due diligence obligations
  • Learn and apply complementary operational functions beyond core tax domain

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related fields
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in FATCA/CRS tax documentation validation, preparation and filing of annual reports
  • Familiarity with preparing and submissions of FATCA and CRS filling obligations across Singapore, Malaysia, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Abu Dhabi and Australia
  • Experience guiding clients with GIIN applications and registrations on local tax authority portals for FATCA and CRS purposes
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage competing demands
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation to optimize workflows and scale processes
  • Knowledge and passion for the fund industry
