About the role

Accenture Construct – Project Manager I & II, ANS role in San Diego, CA. Location is hybrid with remote and onsite work options. Responsible for planning, developing, and delivering electric and gas utility projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, procurement, design, and construction across whole programs from strategy through handover.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement electric and gas utility projects that vary in size and complexity
  • Define and maintain project parameters, managing activities from inception to completion
  • Oversee project deliverables, including scope, schedule, budget, design, procurement, and construction
  • Ensure scope completion and adherence to project schedules and timelines
  • Manage project budgets and optimize the use of available funds
  • Oversee contractor selection and contract preparation
  • Ensure design and construction quality, maintaining compliance with project scope and budget
  • Develop uniform standards for project delivery and reporting frameworks
  • Coordinate material procurement and contracting strategies
  • Conduct monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial management controls
  • Flexible: The work location will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience with client approval)
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in construction projects (Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects)
  • PM I: 3-5 years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects
  • PM II: 5-6+ years of direct project management experience with customer driven utility projects
