About the role

Data Engineer (Mid) to build scalable data architectures and product-oriented data solutions. Focus on pipelines, big data processing, data modeling, DevOps culture, and incident resolution in cloud (Azure) and Databricks environments.

Responsibilities

  • Pipelines & ETL/ELT: Build, maintain and optimize robust data pipelines with low latency, resilience, data quality, and observability practices.
  • Big Data & Distributed Processing: Develop scalable data routes using Apache Spark / PySpark and Databricks, with efficient partitioning and cost optimization.
  • Modeling & Storage: Structure and manage data using SQL Server and Delta Lake.
  • DevOps Culture: Apply Git versioning, create CI/CD routines for deployment automation, and monitor production routines continuously.
  • Incident Resolution: Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement of production routines.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data engineering.
  • Experience in productive environments.
  • Experience handling large data volumes.
  • Participation in migration, modernization, or data lake projects.
  • Ability to investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
