About the role

Manager, Accounts Payable within CoreWeave’s Global Business Services, leading day-to-day AP operations, driving process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in a SOX-compliant Procure-to-Pay environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Accounts Payable operations and end-to-end P2P processes
  • Oversee AP across Direct spend, including 2- and 3-way matching, exception management, disbursements, vendor inquiries, and close activities
  • Serve as escalation point for complex payment holds and blockers
  • Drive improvements in cycle time, first-pass yield, and on-time payment performance
  • Strengthen PO and receiving discipline; reduce root-cause of recurring exceptions
  • Maintain strong internal controls and segregation of duties; support audits and remediation
  • Design and enhance ERP and AP workflows (OCR, approvals, system integrations) to reduce manual touchpoints and improve data integrity
  • Elevate vendor experience; oversee BPO/offshore partners via clear SLAs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Finance, and Accounting to optimize P2P processes

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting
  • 3+ years leading teams within a shared services, GBS, or corporate accounting environment (Indirect and Direct spend)
  • Strong experience in Direct spend, inventory, 3-way match, and GRIR process
  • Experience in high-growth, scaling environments; hands-on and strategic
  • Experience supporting end-to-end P2P processes
  • Strong SOX-aligned controls mindset; ability to partner with Accounting, Procurement, FP&A, IT
  • Hands-on experience managing high-volume invoice processing, payment batches, banking functions
  • Experience with month-end close activities including AP accruals and reconciliations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Coupa)
  • Advanced Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis
