About the role

Summer internship in software engineering focused on Waymo's Scene/Perception-related components for autonomous driving. Hybrid onsite internship based in Mountain View, CA with hourly pay for bachelor’s and master’s students.

Responsibilities

  • Launch features that directly improve Waymo's driving behavior in highly dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Work closely with onboard engineers to apply latest techniques to integrate and validate large ML models in real-time production systems.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with C++ and Python.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and problem solving skills.
