About the role

Senior Manager of Supply Planning to lead supply planning for AMD Client programs, guiding a team of planners to translate demand, capacity, material availability, and risks into actionable supply plans and partner across multiple functions to support product ramps and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners supporting AMD Client programs.
  • Own supply planning across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons to support revenue objectives, customer commitments, and product ramp milestones.
  • Align demand, supply, capacity, materials, and execution priorities across Business Units, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers.
  • Identify supply risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate key decisions and trade-offs with clearly defined business impacts.
  • Manage supply planning performance through KPIs such as on-time delivery, revenue support, inventory health, excess and obsolete exposure, and supply commit accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional resolution of shortages, capacity constraints, material readiness issues, planning parameter gaps, and execution blockers.
  • Improve planning processes, systems, and tools across complex bills of material, inventory flows, and multisite supply networks.
  • Champion continuous improvement, change management, and standard work to strengthen productivity, transparency, and planning discipline.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in supply chain, supply planning, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of supply planning, material flow, capacity planning, inventory management, and operational execution.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional problem-solving and influencing stakeholders across multiple levels and geographic regions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing competing priorities, risks, and trade-offs in support of customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Previous people-management or team-lead experience.
  • Experience within semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, new product introduction, or complex hardware supply chains.
  • Experience supporting product ramps, capacity allocation, constrained supply environments, or executive-level escalations.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, advanced planning systems, dashboards, or supply planning automation tools.
