About the role

Software Engineer with strong machine learning background to contribute to the Global Siri team, focusing on generating data, developing ML models, deploying them to global markets, and integrating personalized experiences. Role bridges Machine Learning and Software Engineering with emphasis on large language models, model lifecycle, data generation, and end-user experience for the Vietnamese market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead work streams to design and implement large-scale ML solutions integrating the latest state-of-the-art research in our global products to advance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across Apple to deliver architectural proposals that account for international market needs.
  • Share experience and maintain continual learning from counterparts.
  • Contribute by generating data, developing machine learning models, adopting models in global markets, and integrating personalized experiences for each customer.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions for Siri in global markets, focusing on end-user experience.

Qualifications

  • BS or Advanced degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent software engineering experience, preferably with iOS or macOS development.
  • Experience with training and evaluating foundation models and building scalable workflows on top of them.
  • Ability to formulate a research problem, design, experiment, implement and communicate solutions.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese to support the Vietnam market and ability to work in an English-speaking environment.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and Swift, with solid software engineering principles and CS fundamentals.
  • Strong grounding in machine learning with practical working knowledge of large language models, including fine-tuning and evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
