About the role

Technical Specialist at Apple Retail who provides technical support and skilled troubleshooting for customers, educates on repair options, and supports high-quality repairs while delivering an only-at-Apple experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for all customers.
  • Develop knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Educate customers on relevant ways to buy and on Apple products and services; present product and service recommendations.
  • Support customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and follow troubleshooting steps in a customer service environment.
  • Navigate customer service issues with care and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Continuously learn about Apple products, services, and third-party products to enhance the customer experience.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple tasks, and collaborate in a team.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and public holidays in a retail store.
  • Ability to reliably attend work as scheduled in line with local laws and accommodations.
