About the role

SAP Engineering Project Manager to lead design, implementation, and integration of enterprise SAP solutions for Apple’s Operations and Service Management domains within a highly customized, high-scale environment. Collaborates with global cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications on SAP platforms, ensuring end-to-end process integrations across a global landscape.

Responsibilities

  • - Define and design end-to-end system architectures on SAP Core, S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • - Lead the technical design, deployment, and operation of integrations between internal SAP systems and external supply chain partner networks using modern integration frameworks (such as sFTP, EDI, APIs, XML, CPI, and BTP).
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional business domains and external partners to establish project priorities, deliverables, and robust system designs aligned with operational targets.
  • - Manage full-lifecycle project execution from partner selection and technical requirement documentation through to integration testing, global cutovers, go-live support, and handoff.
  • - Guide and review the work of technical development teams, ensuring accuracy, security, encryption standards, and performance optimization are embedded in system designs.
  • - Extend standard SAP capabilities through customization frameworks (such as user-exits, implicit enhancements, BADIs, and BAPIs) while ensuring compliance with IT standards and industry best practices.
  • - Advise on architecture scalability and capacity planning for New Product Introductions (NPI) and peak business events, working closely with partner engineering groups.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent practical experience in supply chain management.
  • - 12+ years of experience in SAP techno-functional roles or technical project leadership.
  • - Hands-on system configuration experience in SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, LE, WM, EWM, TMS, EM, SM, or APO/gATP/aATP).
  • - Experience designing and delivering SAP techno-functional solutions in Service Management, SCM, or Operations for B2B or consumer-facing environments.
  • - Customizing, developing customization frameworks, and building end-to-end integrations within SAP Core and S/4HANA.
  • - Managing complex, end-to-end global enterprise projects with partner integrations and global cutovers.
  • - Building and deploying integrations/applications using SAP BTP, SAPUI5, and data integration tech (iDocs, EDI, APIs, XML, BAPI, RFC, ODATA, SOAP/REST).
  • - Code walkthroughs and debugging in ABAP and Java.
  • - Performance engineering to optimize throughput and testing.
  • - Security/encryption for PII/PIC data handling.
  • - Test automation frameworks for regression and performance testing.
  • - WMS operations experience with Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or proprietary systems.
  • - Developing custom solutions using Python, Java, JavaScript, or CAP framework on SAP BTP.
  • - Identifying/applying Generative AI use cases in an enterprise SAP ecosystem.
  • - Leading scalability discussions, capacity planning, and risk mitigation for high-volume events.
  • - Fostering cross-functional collaboration to align roadmaps.
