About the role

Lead a team of Carrier Field Engineers to drive adoption and integration of Apple technologies with major US Carrier partners and their enterprise clients, removing technical barriers, improving platform readiness, and accelerating growth through strategic collaboration with internal teams and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and strategically evolve the Carrier Field Engineering team, ensuring its capabilities align with platform and solution growth strategies
  • Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Product, R&D, Marketing, and Finance, both internally and with carrier partners, to develop and execute business strategies, long-range plans, and technical goals
  • Drive complex, high-impact business initiatives that secure critical outcomes and accelerate growth
  • Identify emerging wireless industry trends and integrate them into growth initiatives, keeping the organization ahead of market shifts
  • Continuously improve the customer journey and core operations to increase efficiency and scale the business
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership
  • Navigate challenging technical and business discussions with confidence, remaining composed under pressure
  • Make informed, impactful decisions with sound judgment, even in ambiguous situations
  • Mentor and enable team members, fostering curiosity and deepening expertise across Apple's ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal teams, Carrier partners, and customers

Qualifications

  • Approximately 7 plus years of experience leading technical, solutions-oriented teams
  • Strong business acumen, including an understanding of financial drivers and strategic planning for sustainable growth
  • Profound understanding and experience with complex IT enterprise environments, including deployment strategies, security frameworks, and mobile architectures
  • Extensive background in mobile technology and solutions, including carrier network infrastructure (e.g., 5G, Private Networks, Network Slicing), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and advanced security solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strategic foresight to anticipate emerging industry trends and proactively identify growth opportunities with carrier partners
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Experience with AI integration within mobile ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success advising on technical business transformation initiatives for large enterprises or in a consultative pre-sales engineering capacity
  • Strong grasp of Apple's approach to Security and Privacy, with the ability to articulate the inherent benefits of our integrated approach
